Paul’s Auto & Collision has a rich history that began in 1949 when my grandfather, Paul, returned home after serving in the Air Force during WWII. Recognizing a need in the Tampa area, he opened Paul’s Undercoating & Steam Cleaning to protect new vehicles from the rust and corrosion that quickly plagued them in those days. In 1952, Paul expanded his knowledge by attending Bear Automotive Safety Service School, where he learned how to perform wheel alignments and frame straightening. He added these services to his growing shop, laying the foundation for a trusted auto repair business. My father continued the legacy, adding more general services to the shop’s repertoire. In 2008, I joined the business, and by 2016, I took ownership from my father and expanded our services even further with the addition of collision repair work. Today, we remain committed to the same values my grandfather started with, providing expert car care and exceptional customer service.
